About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 9 years of experience supporting adults through life’s complexities. I work with clients navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship concerns, personal growth, religious trauma, and women’s and gender issues.

I believe genuine therapeutic change happens in an environment of compassion, honesty, and clear communication. My goal is to empower you to feel grounded, authentic, and at peace in the life you are creating for yourself everyday!

I attended Appalachian State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Psychology and a concentration in Women’s Studies. This foundation deepened my understanding of how identity, social, and political contexts impact mental health and well-being. I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College in 2017 and have practiced counseling in the Burke and Catawba County areas since then.

Outside of practicing therapy, I am a mom to three amazing kiddos, two loving cats, and one sweet dog; and a devoted partner to my wonderful fiancé. I love to spend time in nature, birdwatch, hike, create art, and spend quality time with my family and friends. Counseling has been a calling for me from a young age and it is an honor to be part of that journey with each person I get to work with.
